I'm a Jersey girl now living in California.  I am currently living in the Bay Area with my husband and chihuahua.  My job with the National Weather Service brought me out west.  I'm pretty active with outdoor stuff, so I really can't complain about living in NorCal despite being so far away from my friends and family back east.  I scuba dive, skydive, backpack, snowboard, stand up paddle, and mountain and road bike.  I love cooking.... AND eating, so the jaw surgery diet is pretty rough for somebody like me!  I started this webpage when I decided to get jaw surgery and braces. I had my first jaw surgery April 9th, 2014, but it was riddled with lots of surgical errors and poor planning, so I had to have a complete revision surgery February 18th, 2016.  So, how did I initially end up at this point where I decided I wanted to break my face into pieces and have it be put back together again?  Check out my first blog post for my original story, and to hear more about what went down for the first botched jaw surgery check out the second link.
